Chenora D. Burkett supports the financial and operational needs of small local companies and non-profit entities. Her more than 25 years of experience have focused on the alignment of transitional management and organizational restructuring.
Having frequently entered companies on the cusp of change, her method is to “run toward the fire” and bring someone along to take the message back to others. Chenora understands that this essential to ensuring knowledge transfer in support of business continuity that joins people and process to facilitate sustainability.
Chenora has worked in a number of non-profit industries and the public sector including art and culture, governmental funding fiscal management, behavioral health and charitable philanthropy. Her expertise includes organizational transition, strategic planning, financial management, talent and culture, information systems, facilities management and relocation, pension administration and collective bargaining.
Chenora is an active certified public accountant, licensed in Pennsylvania. She is the treasurer for Susan G. Komen Philadelphia and the African American Chamber of Commerce Foundation and serves as board member of POWER, the Power of Professional Women. In addition to her board responsibilities, she is a member of the Philadelphia Housing Authority Audit Committee. A mother of three adult children, Chenora resides in Whitemarsh Township with her tall husband and her tiny dog.
