Adam is an executive and leadership coach who has coached many emerging and established leaders in a variety of contexts, including executives in healthcare, technology, start-ups, and non-profits. Adam’s work has focused on diverse topics such as leadership development, cultural/diversity competence, inter-generational competence and personal development. Adam uses powerful questioning and deep engagement to help clients reach new insights and discoveries. He uses his background as a scholar in social neuroscience, group dynamics, leadership, and diversity to help clients develop as leaders, communicators, and positive disruptors.
Prior to his coaching work, Adam earned his PhD in Social Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Delaware. His research focused on the influence of Racial and Gender Bias on individual and group performance. His dissertation work investigated how the awareness of gender inequities influenced women’s leadership abilities and desires to lead. Since he graduated, Adam has been consulting with organizations on organizational development, strategic planning, diversity and inclusion, and internal evaluations.
Adam spends his free time with family, friends and his two Boston Terriers. He manages a running club and a pizza club in Philadelphia. As a longtime academic, Adam strives for a thorough and meaningful understanding of everything and everyone he engages with deep learning and theory testing (talk to him about pizza!).
